Following its success in 2010, the ASEAN region’s biggest football show – the AFF Cup, also known as AFF Suzuki Cup – is set to return for its ninth edition of the ASEAN Football Championship. 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup will be co-hosted by Malaysia and Thailand and will take place from 24 November to 22 December 2012.
The majority of the Group Stage matches will be played at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok and the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur with the Supachalasai Stadium and Shah Alam Stadium slated as secondary venues for the final round of group games.
Malaysia won the AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 title for the first time thanks to a 4-2 aggregate victory over Indonesia in the two-legged final.

The top two teams in each group will progress to the semi-finals which will take place over two legs on a home-and-away basis from December 8 to 13. The winners of those matches will contest the final with the first leg on December 19 and the return match on December 22.
2012 AFF Suzuki Cup Games Schedule, Time, Scores and Results
Men's FIH Champions Trophy 2012 will be held in Melbourne, Australia from 1 to 9 December 2012. It will be the 34th edition of the event and one that will see the host nation, Australia, look to defend its 2011 Champions Trophy title.

San Antonio Spurs stars Tim Duncan and Tony Parker had some fun at NBA referee Joey Crawford's expense at a Halloween party this year, based on a photo that which first appeared on Reddit.
Duncan and Parker were photographed holding fake guns to the head of someone else dressed as Crawford.

According to a new UN report, the rate of new HIV infections has dropped by more than 50% reduction in the rate of new HIV infections has been achieved across 25 low- and middle-income countries––more than half in Africa, the region most affected by HIV.
World AIDS Day has a new mission: “Getting to Zero” by 2015. This means that by year 2015 the world have ZERO new HIV infections, ZERO discrimination and ZERO AIDS-related deaths.
HIV stands for 'human immunodeficiency virus'. HIV is a virus (of the type called retrovirus) that infects cells of the human immune system, and destroys or impairs their function.

What are the symptoms of HIV?
Most people infected with HIV do not know that they have become infected, because they do not feel ill immediately after infection. However, some people at the time of seroconversion develop “Acute retroviral syndrome” which is a glandular fever-like illness with fever, rash, joint pains and enlarged lymph nodes.
Seroconversion refers to the development of antibodies to HIV and usually takes place
between 1 and 6 weeks after HIV infection has happened.

Standard antiretroviral therapy (ART) consists of the combination of at least three antiretroviral (ARV) drugs to maximally suppress the HIV virus and stop the progression of HIV disease.

25 countries have seen a 50% or greater drop in new HIV infections since 2001.
